Edward was great at communicating with me before our session so he could know what we wanted & what we were comfortable with etc. & he planned accordingly. My husband and I really wanted to learn some massage techniques that we could do to relieve stress & pain for each other, but also to just enjoy the connection & time together while massaging each other & Edward was great at showing us things we were interested in learning. He created a sort of “hybrid” class that also pulled in some intimacy into the workshop. He was very professional & didn’t make it awkward even though it was very intimate at times :). He gave us some amazing ideas & tips for doing massage as a couple at home.

It was a really amazing experience & I would do it again in a heart beat. I would recommend this to any couples who love massage (both giving & receiving) or anyone looking to spend more time as & have more intimacy as a couple. It’s a fun way to connect with your spouse or significant other on a level that you might not have experienced before. Highly worth it. Thank you, Edward! We’re very excited to take what you taught us & use it often at home. :)

The intimacy workshop my husband and I had with Healing Hands was an investment in our relationship. From simple things like tender touches to the face and hair to much more intimate touching it felt like we could finally focus on our relationship and connection, apart from the usual day to day stresses and pressures of life. The Intimate Touch Workshop filled me with tears of Joy.  This past year had put such a strain on our relationship, I was searching for a way for us to reconnect and came across the workshop by Edward. I CAN'T RECOMMEND IT ENOUGH. We resolved that it was worth overcoming any inhibitions to really get the most from it.   Edward's gentle calm approach was amazing.  Though a series of exercises at the beginning, we learned how to appreciate each other in ways that I thought were lost forever. We resolved that it was worth overcoming any inhibitions to really. In the massage portion we learned to really "connect" and for both of us there was a new clarity around appreciating the joy in giving.  At one point at the end we lost track of time and space and forgot Edward was even with us.  The way he asks open ended questions and leads us through discussions allowed us to really communicate our feelings and open up to each other in a way that was beautiful and non confrontational.  We felt sooooo connected upon leaving and feel this was the perfect reset that we desperately needed.

We went to Healing Hands to celebrate my husband's 50th Birthday. My goal was to learn how to give a massage and for my husband to learn how to give a massage(I'm no fool). Edward Did an amazing job! It was awkward at first - my husband is pretty conservative!

Edward was patient and made it very easy to learn. We learned by doing, it was hands on teaching and learning. Time was devoted to instruction and to giving/receiving a real massage. Edward is more than qualified, he is passionate about massage and wellness and it shines through in his approach. The money we spent on massages will now be saved at home when we can give our own massages. Although I want to go to Edward b/c he was so good! I will tell my friends and family to go to Edward which is the best compliment!  FIVE STARS !

​My Boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary with a couples instructive massage with Ed and it blew away our expectations! Not only was he a great teacher and comfortable partner to learn with, we both came out wonderfully relaxed! We took turns on the table and thoroughly enjoyed the massage Ed was giving as well as the ones he was teaching us to give each other. It was apparent that he knew what he was doing and was very good at it and also just a really nice, personable guy. Ed taught us how to plan and "flow" a massage based on our time and partners needs as well as what to actually do in each area and how to make it relaxing for both the receiver and the giver. We have since successfully practiced and enjoyed the techniques he taught us - which he intentionally and skillfully customized during our workshop to exactly what would be best for our needs/goals as a couple and as individuals. It was truly a wonderful, one of a kind experience and great for couples or if you just want to learn how to give massages, or if you want a practitioner that really knows their stuff and is extremely in tune with their clients needs. We absolutely loved it and would HIGHLY recommend this service and any services with Ed.

My wife and I really enjoyed our melt - couples massage workshop. This was planned as a fun experience for a birthday without a lot of consideration, and it turned out to be one of the most fun birthday experiences we've ever had. Edward did a masterful job of blending the quiet serenity of a massage with the fun experience of a couples class. We both left feeling like we'd had an amazing opportunity to connect away from the kids and the hustle of life, while also getting a really fantastic massage.

It was refreshing to experience and perform massage that treats the client in a holistic way and normalizes chest and breast work as part of an integrated full body massage. The class emphasized the importance of communication, respect and boundaries. We experienced a lot of hands on work as well as discussions around how to incorporate this work into our practice.
